A San Diego resident born and raised. Shun Wakita has been an active participant in the Real Estate Industry for the last 16 years. He first started his career as a leasing agent for ERA HomeTeam Real Estate Services, worked as a buyers agent and eventually started his own brokerage in his late 20's. His first brokerage HomeTeam Property Management was started in 2011 and today is one of the largest residential management companies in San Diego.

He then proceeded to apply the same concepts that helped grow the management company to a new type of Residential Sales Brokerage Wakita & Asscoiates.

Shun has also been active as a volunteer in the Real Estate industry serving 8 years in Rules and Regulations Committee for Sandicor and 4 years as a Board of Director and finally 1 year as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Sandicor Multiple Listing Service.

For his contributions to the industry he has recieved Realtor of the Year in 2015 and the Presidents Award in 2018 from the Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors

On his spare time, he enjoy to put together computers, programming and reading.

As the broker of record for Wakita & Associates, his goal is to elevate the agents and in turn the professional standards, quality and service that clients of the real estate industry rely on.
