Born and raised in Northern California, Laurie has spent the last few years traveling the world in search of stories and inspiration. Since returning to her native city of Chico, California, she has worked as a copywriter, blogger, and technical writer for industries ranging from fashion to energy consulting and laser technology. She earned her B.A. in Creative Writing from Pepperdine University and continued on to earn her M.F.A in Creative Writing from National University. As a Marketing Specialist and writer for Wakita & Associates, she strives to bring quality and distinction, through creativity, to the marketing team.
